"Singing provides the unique opportunity to perform for people of all nations, backgrounds, and beliefs... celebrating and being one, if even for a brief moment in time." -Kai Brant
Kai Brant is a Native American poet and jazz singer from Southern California.
In 2005, after releasing (2) independent records of original songs, she left the States to tour throughout London as a singer-songwriter. Upon her return, she went on to produce a series of shows for small theaters and music festivals throughout Southern California which featured spoken word poets, musicians, dancers, and artists.
Longing to pursue her love of jazz, Kai moved to Las Vegas in 2010 where she began studying with pianist Tommy Deering (Sophie Tucker, Joe Williams) and vocal coach Seth Riggs (Natalie Cole, Bette Midler, Michael Jackson). A decade later, Kai Brant released her first studio record alongside The Las Vegas Jazz Trio.
Kai Brant is currently singing and performing exclusively in Las Vegas while working on her upcoming 2020 record that will highlight her sultry vocal sound and love of smokey jazz.
Kai Brant has performed at virtually every venue along the Las Vegas Strip, including:
Hakkasan (MGM), The Mansion (MGM), Nobu (Caesars Palace), Hyde (Bellagio), House of Blues (Mandalay Bay), Bourbon 1923 (Mandalay Bay), The NoMad Bar (Park MGM), Versailles Ballroom (Paris), Hexx Nightclub (Paris), The Chelsea (Cosmopolitan), Level 107 (Stratosphere), Treasure Island, Waldorf Astoria... and many more.
